In an excellent central location, just off the Playa Catalonya, next to the famous Las Ramblas allowing for much of the city to be explored on foot. Lovely apartments in an unbeatable location with a service based on a family inn with more than 25 years of experience. Those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of daily routine will find peace and tranquillity at this hotel.
Bathroom lacks ventilation.

It was a perfectly pleasant stay for a short visit: unbeatable location and helpful staff. We truly enjoyed the café, where the breakfast was served. The apartment was near Barcelona-El Prat airport, only 12 miles.

Unbeatable central location just off Playa Catalonya and next to Las Ramblas. It's like being in the heart of Barcelona. Charming and cozy apartments with a family inn atmosphere. You'll feel right at home. Peace and tranquility away from the daily hustle and bustle. A perfect escape.
Dark and small Queen room.

Good location only.
First of all it was tough to locate the hotel though it was center of the city. This was part of a very old building. Room was very old with broken windows. Towels were not good. The walls of the room was too thin, we could not sleep whole night as there were too much noises and disturbance coming from other rooms untill 5 A.M. There was no one in the reception at 9.45 A.m in the morning while we were checking out , had to wait in front of the closed door and hand over our room key to another boarder of the hotel since we had to catch our flight back home. We will never stay again here nor recommend any one to stay there. Very bad experience over all !!

Rooms are equipped with kitchenette is a big advantage .
Entrancein in hte building gives a lonely and scary feeling as there is no habitation on ground floor.

We stayed at Estudios Pelayo Guest House for a 3-day leisure trip. the small guest house was perfectly located in the heart of the city, close to landmarks, a metro station, and shopping centers. the reception staff were flexible with our check-in and check-out hours, and they even provided us with the best available room. the room was clean and recently refurbished, with basic but adequate cooking facilities and a balcony overlooking the street. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering to hold our luggage after check-out. we had a great experience and would happily stay there again.

Location was very central and it's a 5 min walk to Las Ramblas. Although it's along the main road, the hostel was not easy to locate, just like most other hostels in the Spain. Comes with cooking facilities and free Wifi.
Walls are rather thin. You can hear others talking next door if they raise their voice above normal conversation levels.

Great very well English speaking staff. Great location and great price. Beds are not that comfortable. The kitchenette is great but not overly equipped, will do the job though. Wifi is free and worked very well. We didn't need the airco but in the summer it's great to have.

Our stay at Estudios Pelayo Guest House was fantastic. The location was perfect, just around the corner from La Rambla, making it easy to explore the city. The owner was very accommodating and provided us with helpful advice on where to go and what to see. Despite a few minor issues, such as a small room and a bathroom with a bad smell, the overall experience was pleasant. The room was clean, and though basic, it served its purpose for a comfortable stay. We would recommend this guest house for travelers on a budget who want a convenient location in Barcelona. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent location and helpful owner.

The location is good for those travellers, who need a good access to the city center. The kitchenette is practical.
The hotel was difficult to find because it had no proper sign on the street. The hall was messy and the elevator very poky. The room was small and impractically decorated and there was a bad smell. The floor was dusty. One chair was broken and the wooden decoratives in the bathroom were covered with mold. Most of the time we stayed in the guest house there was nobody in the reception even though it was their working time. The receptionist did not say hello when we walked by. When we asked for an extra pillow for our child we couldn't get one. We were very disappointed to the hotel and found that it didn't correspond the description on the hotel's web site. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially not to families with children
